Our Mission Statement

ZPAR is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Las Vegas, Nevada that focuses on rescuing,
​rehabilitating and rehoming all animals.

Our Inspiration: Zeus

A handsome Pitbull was posted as a dog that was headed to the shelter because his owner was no longer able to keep. Due to a severe allergy problem he would have definitely ended up on the transfer list.  When I saw the post, I looked into his eyes and I could hear him say "help me”.  At the time it was my 5th year volunteering for several different rescues and I helped adopt out so many animals, I was familiar with all aspects of rescue, and I knew I could help him.  I brought Zeus into my home and got him treatment for his allergies, he was ready for his forever family to adopt him.  Zeus was adopted out twice and both times came back due to depression and allergy flareups which resulted in a staph infection the second time returned. Then I realized every time I adopted him out, he would get sick and I felt a void in my heart.  So, it was done deal! We were going to save each other ♥. I adopted Zeus and made him a promise: I would make it my mission to help other animals as I had helped him.  It's been a struggle, but I did it! April 2019, I fulfilled my promise to Zeus and began Z’s Promise Animal Rescue…  So, who saved whom? ​
